What's for Dinner: Beer braised Bratwurst

I just had to share this crowd pleasing favorite recipe with you all. This recipe is super easy and not a lot of work. Usually when I make this recipe it is when my family are going to a party, but I have made it just for a regular dinner.

 

Beer and Apples Braised Bratwurst

 

• package of bratwurst (I used Johnsonville original bratwurst)
• apples (thickly chopped)
• onions (chopped but this is optional)
• beer (I used Corona, but you can use whatever brand you like)

 

This is a crockpot recipe so I just threw everything in the crockpot and let it cook for 4-6 hours on LOW. When it was done, I take out the bratwurst and either grill them or saute them on the pain for color. Like I said super easy and tasty! It is perfect for a cookout or any type of gathering because it has a lot of flavor.
